Sounds like a misfire when i am driving down the highway, and now it is seemingly cutting out. got code P1345, i have tested the crank sensor, fuel pressure. motor was replaced recently. PCM and body control module was replaced and reprogrammed by the dealer. sometimes it starts fine. others it will take me 10 minutes of tinkering to get it started (and i dont think its anything i did to make it start) could this just be off its timing, or should i look at replacement of the cam sensor/distributor?
Possible causes for p 1345 code
engine mechanical condition--valve timing off
cam sensor or crank sensor are loose on their mountings
faulty cam shaft position senor
faulty crankshaft position sensor
rech notes
if this dtc started after recent internal engine repairs, inspect for proper engine mechanical timing .
with the camshaft cover off and the no 1 cylinder on ydc, make sure that the darkened chain links are lined up with the alignment marks on the exhaust and intake cam sprockets
I f a p 0016 or p 1345 is resetting without any engine performance concerns but the above information did not isolate a cause for the dtc , replace the cam phaser actuator sprocket

that site goes on to explain how and where the sensors operate and located
The primary intent of this code is to detect slipped camshaft timing. Have you checked the camshaft timing? Your symptoms indicate you are a tooth off.
