When I turn they key the starter says onlky " click "
Could be several things, I would check battery terminal connections make sure they are tight and clean. how old is battery? could need replaced. if jump starting works I would suspect battery, once running is alternator charging? turn head lights on before trying to start, are they bright? leave them on and watch them while someone trys to start car, do they dim or stay bright? if the dim quckly with click that your hearing you may need a starter, if they stay bright, most likey a battery or bad terminal connections.

check electronic spark unit ie coil pack going open circuit when hot
will run but when turned off will stay open circuit untill cools down then closed circuit then will wprk fine

yes their is no other makes catagory ,right iam not sure if this will work but i reset one yesterday on 2005 model and i held the trip meter button down and then turned to aux position then waited 30 secs then turned key to ignition position ,waited 30 secs then turned ignition off and then started engine and it went out ,but for how long?? i dont know as the owner has taken the vehicle
