They normally stamp the Keyless entry code in the trunk and if not I belive the Computer that controls this is located behind the Glove box and they normally have the code printed on it.

no need a code which you get from dealer when vehicle was bought its a security system so to change it will need a code -or notify dealer with vin and proof of ownership and they should be able to give you the code

you need to jack car up, block wheels, and support car safely and then disconnect shift rod or cable from transmission. then try to shift trans manually by hand. If trans shifts then your problem is in the shift mecanism. If shifter mechanism moves freely then your problem lies in the trans shift fork. Hopefully i'm wrong and it is just bound up and by disconnecting and moving it will free up and work.

I have a 1988 Lincoln Mark VII but this still should work.
You first need to enter in the code you have. Then, within five seconds press the 1/2 button. Then, within five seconds of each other, press five buttons in any sequence you desire and this will be your new code. Hope this helps.
