Lights on truck work, tow tail lights don't
Check trailer running light fuse underhood
2006 ford f -250 super duty my taillights dont work bulb looks good checked fuses both in the truck and under the hood all other lights are fine
SOURCE: lighting problem
Have you checked the fuses and dimmer switch? Check the trailers bulbs there is usually one bulb with two filaments for each light, one filament can burn out without causing the other to go. If the bulbs are good you should start at the trailer light connector ( use a test light or voltmeter to test for power at the trucks wire harness first to see if it's the truck or the trailer ) and work your way back to the lights. Clean the contacts on the connector, bulbs and bulb sockets (steel wool and or a can of aerosol electrical contact cleaner).

the tail lights are the same bulb but they use a different filament in the bulb.you may need to replace the bulbs.another possibility is there maybe a problem with the wiring for the tail lights between the socket and the area where the trailer wiring is connected to the truck wiring.try the bulbs first, you just have to try one first to see it it works or not then you will know what to do next.
