SOURCE: trouble with my speedometer starting off at 60 or 100

Pretty common on the 03-05 Sunfire instrument clusters. It's caused by the stepper motors on the cluster circuit board going bad but it can be fixed. Check out this page for more about how to get it fixed - Sunfire speedometer fix

SOURCE: serpentine belt digran pontic sunfire

need to know the engine size and you should have a diagram for the belt routing under the hood. if the belt tensioner is faulty or one of the pulleys have seized .have those repaired first instead of putting on the belt again.9 out 10 it is a faulty part that is why you may have lost the belt.

SOURCE: 2000 pontiac sunfire replaced head gasket now it still wont start, it just backfires

It sounds like a timing issue. Make sure the cam shafts and timing belt are installed correctly. Hopefully you have not belt any valves while trying to start it. Good luck.

1998 v6 mustang backfires through exhaust at 2000 rpm

Could be many things, the most common being spark plug wires, or the plugs themselves. Or the cam, or valves or timing. Change the wires and plugs to start with, and see what happens.

2000 pontiac sunfire starts only when gas pedal is held to floor, idles rough and white smoke comming to exhaust changed IAC valve..no change

If you have excessive white smoke coming from the vehicles exhaust, it sounds like your headgasket is failing. Especially having a rough idle too. Check your coolant level, does your exhaust smoke smell sweet, like Antifreeze? If so, the gasket has blown. Hope this helps...
