I have a 94 ford crown victoria lx with 198k, the car recently stalled out on me and so far I have replaced the spark plugs as well as the fuel pump and the car still will not start. I have heard that either the whole engine might need to be replaced or the fuel filter will need to be replaced, can anyone give me some more advice thanks

Hey mate, get a can of SeaFoam and put half in a full tank of gas and the other half in your oil through oil filler cap. Make sure engine is warm BEFORE doing this. Let sit for about 20 minutes. If you can get it started, go for a 10 minute drive. If you can't get it started, check/ change ignition switch..then go for a drive. SeaFoam is about 12$ at Canadian tire if in Canada... cheers.

SOURCE: 94 CROWN VICTORIA FUEL PUMP

Yes you can replace it. It is in the fuel tank. You will need to drain the tank and remove it to gain access to the fuel pump. A floor jack will help when lowering the fuel tank. If you fo to a dealer to do this you will be looking probably around $700.00 to replace the pump.

can you hear the fuel pump working if not check the wiring and power and ground by the tank. check fuel pressure, as if its low it won`t start, you can get bad new parts. do you have spark at the plugs. check for codes. just some places to start.

2003 ford crown victoria shuts off when driving i try to start it up it just cranks but wont start. Already changed the fuel pump and spark plugs and that dont seem to work. Any one please Help??

You'll first need to find out if you are lacking fuel or spark to know where to go next. Do a basic test for fuel pressure with a gauge and spark at the plugs when it fails to start.

2003 crown victoria cranks wont start, was running fine, just cut out.never started again

As with any no-start situation, you need to know if you have spark to the plugs, fuel to the injectors, and normal compression to proceed.
