Well to me it seems like you have either a intake manifold leaking or head gasket leaking also which is causing coolant to go into motor.check the oil and see if it looks milky or overfull.

SOURCE: 2001 dodge neon check engine lite is on code 1495 showing

P1495 Leak Detection Pump Solenoid Circuit Open Or Shorted
Code P1495 is for the LDP solenoid circuit. (LDP-Leak Detection Pump). This is a system that seals off the evaporative system of the car and then pressurizes it with the LDP. The computer looks to see how long it takes to pressurize the system, (depending on fuel level) and then determines if the system is leaking. Emissions regulations require this to cut down on fuel vapours from escaping to the atmosphere. You will likely have to get a dealer to diagnose this, unless you can find a shop that has a manual and DRB scan tool.

SOURCE: 2005 Dodge Neon starts but dies right after?

It is the Intake Air Control motor (IAC Motor). Replaced mine and have not had any other problems.

Got 2000 dodge neon will start when cold run good but when motor warms up won't start

Nikki is the engine light on, are there any codes, have you had a tune up or any other work done lately.when you say it won't start when warm(do you mean engine will not turn over, or does engine turn and refuses to fire.
If I had to guess failing fuel pump, they tend not to build fuel pressure when ran a while(warmed up) and when left to cool build somewhat better pressure.

I have a 2000 Dodge Neon, I was driving down the road and it made a grinding noise and died... It started spraying coolant everywhere. I've tried to restart it, but it won't start. It turns over, just...

more than likely the radiator went and has affected the transmission lines thus the car will not start.happend to me and all the trans fluid had leaked down the road the car stalled and then overheated would not move .only saw coolant not trans fluid since it drip out on the road prior to stalling.another option is the water pump or center freeze plug our had rusted through before and was a hassle to replace

I have a 96 dodge neon and it is leaking antifreeze by the ac compresser and i can't see were it is leaking from also the heater isn't blowing hot air could it be the water pump that is what i think it is

the water pump is behind the timing chain cover. if so replace it ASAP. if you keep driving it, and the water pump locks up, it will wipe out the timing belt, and your engine will be trashed, bent valves. replace the water pump, tensioner, and belt, Chrysler has an updated cover and tensioner kit, use it.

2001 dodge neon wont start and then the engine dies while driving

When this happens you should check to see if it has spark. The coils could be going bad or the main relay could be going bad if it has no spark. If it has spark then check for fuel pressure. If it doesnt have fuel pressure chances are that its the pump. I think those cars have a problem with pumps going out in them.

Dies after driving for 10 minutes

I think I'd have to gamble on a new relay, and clean up contacts in those sockets with electrical cleaner, then add dielectric grease before plugging in new one. Do the pump first obviously.
