Last winter my airbag light on the dashboard kept coming on in the morning when I went out to warm my car up. It would stay on until I had been driving for awhile and got the vehicle heated up. Now that's its starting to get cold again this year, the light started doing the same thing. Anything I can do? Should I be concerned?
The likely cause is a bad connection somewhere in the system. A good scanner could help pinpoint the problem. When the light is on, the system is probably inactive. There is probably no risk is leaving it as it is, as long as you don't mind not having an airbag system in the winter...
Take your car to the dealer, see if there is an active recall on your car for the airbag system. A malfunctioning sensor can lead to an errant airbag discharge, and could cause serious damage to you or your passenger.
When the airbag light is on it means the system is effectively switched off.
A code read should provide a clue to the problem, though for best results the code reader might have to be used while the light is on.

The airbag light is on most likely due to an open circuit in the rotating electrical contact ribbon under the steering wheel, it is called the clock-spring for short, a very common failure. As far as the coolant light, check the level, if you are not sure of the indicator here is a link to your owners manual from a Ford web site.

You might have a Bad Airbag Sensor. Is it cold where you are at????

Some vehicles you can disconnect the battery for 10-20 mins and it usually resets a check engine light. But the airbag light is different. This means there is something wrong with the airbag system and it will not go out until maintenance.

You should take the vehicle to a certified dealer immediately; Your airbag could deploy prematurely causing serious injury or death!

Safety Belt pre-tensioner Status (Driver pre-tensioner Circuit Fault).
On the seat belt buckle there is a pre-tensioner that when vehicle is involved in an accident it will deploy and pull the belt tighter.
If the vehicle has never been involved in an accident it could be what we call terminal fretting which is just a build up on the terminals which cause a open circuit. Usually just unplugging and reconnecting the connector a couple of times will fix this.
If this doesn't correct it I would recommend having your local dealer look at it.
