Resistor gone for blower. Not sure where yours would be, can't seem to find info I need. Common locations, in under dash on passenger side near blower motor, under hood on firewall , passenger side under cowl. Behind glove box.

95 bmw 325i, the wipers same times just dont work, by turn off and turn on the engine same times they work again, were or what I need to check or replace to fix this? thank you

check the wiper delay setting on the wiper control arm. There will be several settings as to when they wipe . From a wipe every second to wipe every 20secs. depending on the amount of rain falling. Then you go to 1/2 speed and full speed by pulling the lever further down

'07 Impala Wipers Work Intermittently

Did you check for voltage at the wiper fuse? My info says that fuse is hot all the time. Use a digital multimeter. Everything off, take a reading across battery posts, the generic spec for a full charge is around 12.6 volts. You should get close to same reading at the wiper fuse, hopefully. When checking voltage at the fuse, use chassis ground not the other leg of fuse. There are wiper relays, those are pcb relays, they are soldered into the fuse box, you can't pull them out. Your bcm is also involved with those relays. Your multifunction switch basically tells the bcm you turned on your wipers, then the bcm controls voltage or ground for the relays. You can see wire color for hi and lo speed voltage. Maybe a problem with fuse box or wiring circuit if voltage is low? I hope this was of some help?

In delay cycle wiper hesitates

Hi,
The hesitation of the wipers in delay cycle is normal. You can twist the nob on the end of the arm to speed up or slow down the hesitation.
If you are driving in a light mist and the wipers ran at normal speed most of the time the would be wiping a dry windshield. Chattering and bouncing. With the delay set at the right speed the wipers only go on every so often, No dry chattering. In a full rain just twist the knob past the delay cycle to get low or high speed from the wipers.
Hope this helped you.

Is there a procedure to check the wiper motor on 1991 S10 pickup (only 42000 miles), to be sure it is defective and not a wiring problem?

ONLY PROCEDURE FOR WIPER MOTOR IS YOU HAVE 2 SPEEDS THAT WORK SLOW AND FAST SPEED.WIPERS WILL RETRACT TO THE BOTTOM OF HOOD LINE WHEN YOU TURN OFF. WIPERS SHOULD TURN OFF. CHECK WIPER RESERVOIR MAKE SURE ITS FULL AND WIPER WASHER SPRAY FLUID CLEAN WINDSHIELD. IF WIPER MOTOR DO ALL THE ABOVE THEN ITS OKAY.IF WIPER MOTOR WORKS SLOW LOOK FOR BINDING AT WIPER ARM LINKAGE AND PIVOT LUBRICATE LINKAGE AND PIVOT COULD HELP.IF WIPER MOTOR DONT WORK CHECK FOR POOR GROUND OR BLOWED FUSE.WIPER WORK AT ONE SPEED CONTROL SWITCH IS BAD.IF WIPER BLADES STOP WHERE EVER THEY ARE OR FAIL TO TURN OFF UNLESS YOU TURN OFF IGNITION SWITCH WIPER MOTOR LIMIT SWITCH BROKEN.IF WIPERS DONT RETRACT BELOW BOTTOM HOOD LINE LOOK FOR MECHANICAL OBSTRUCTION OR WIPER MOTOR FAULTY.

Wipers will not shut off and return to correct position

switch is bad there are resistors that control what speed the wipers go. if you go to high there is no resistors for that it is full power. so that control arm will need to be replaced.

Windshield wiper failure

It sounds like the park switch in the top end of the wiper motor is stuck closed.

Windshield wipers go full speed on intermittent setting

Sounds to me like the person you talked to was probably just a service writer who has no clue. That would either be a body control module malfunction, or a bad wiper switch. The wiper switch would be a more likely cause.

99 town car intermitent wiper function inoperable

I performed a Web search using "lincoln wiper intermittent speed box" . There were diagrams and parts showing components. You should be able to find what you need after reading your search material. I once changed out a similar part in a 1984 Ford Thunderbird. My part was hanging behind the instrument panel and about midway up in the drivers' dash cavity.
