Make sure you check the blower motor relay. If you can locate it, just unlpug it and see if the blower stops.

SOURCE: How do i change the Blower motor resistor on a 2005 chevy impala?

The blower motor resistor is located behind the glovebox mounted in the fan housing box under the dash.

SOURCE: Blower motor or resistor?

If it was the motor that went out then it would not blow at all. The resistor is the culprit that starts killing off speeds. It should be about $25 to $30 at an aftermarket store like autozone or advanced auto parts.

SOURCE: Blower motor or resistor?

Yes its the blower motor resistor.

More then likley theres some trash or something in it, or possibly the motor itself is on it's way out. There not that bad to pull out of that body car, just pull it out and see what you can see.

The blower motor is under the glove compartment

You can replace the resistor on your own. Please find a detailed diagram which would guide you to do it.

SOURCE: 2002 Chevy Impala Blower resistor location

It is on the passenger side, you have to remove the black plastic kick plate, below the glove box, to expose it (held in place with 2 latches and 1 push pin). The resistor is in front of the blower motor ( sandwiched between the motor housing and the firewall) it is tricky to get to, i think when i changed mine i didnt replace all the screws as they were difficult to remove and even harder to replace. Good Luck, Mike

Why does my blower motor not turn on in my 1990 Toyota pickup?

No VIN or country told nor any engine.
what model pickup is it, NOT TOLD ! wow!
sorry the engine can dictate fuse box wiring vastly

you have meter ? DMM"?
finding cause is easy with meter (volts)
not guessing all parts,
and schematic, of the blower
first off the blower is just a 12vdc motor.
and can be hotwire or even bench tested.
very few 33yo cars run now, and is frankly amazing.
so when did blower last work, last decade?
my online 1990 service manual crashes on the HVAC pages. (sad face)
here is the path on most.
battery not dead, engine starts and runs (not told)
fuses good, for sure blower fuse.(HVAC)
then key switch is good and blower controls get power to the blower relay and to the controls blower speed and mode switch.
we use a meter to trace this path, to the switch
blower tested on HIGH.
if dead voltage here we test backwards path above
if not dead here, we make sure 12vdc make it to resistor block, if yes, then to blower motor.
if it fails at any test the problem is backwards path dead.
some versions of this PU, have 3 fuse blocks
and #3 is heater. 2 fuses and 3 relays there
a real service manual is always best.
buy one used off Ebay,
canada model wired different than USA if is USA?
FB3 is right side (LHD) USA cars dash. not left.
FB2 is engine bad
FB1 is left dash.(LHD drive)
FB= fuse box.

USA only 91,.

'94 Silverado heat/ac fan not blowing. Hear clicking when selecting l,m, and high but not blowing

94 CHEVY Silverado ????,heat/ac fan not blowing. K1500?????? Hear clicking when selecting l'm, SET high but not blowing! WITH AIR OR NO A/C? FIRST IS FUSES, MAKE SURE THE BLOWER FUSE IS NOT BLOWN.
EASY NO? CHECK ALL FUSES FIRST. ON ALL ELECTRICS FAILING OF ANY KIND.
BAD FUSE, BAD WIRINIG , BAD CONNECTIONS. OR EVEN BAD RELAYS TO THE BLOWER OR BAD SWITCH BLOW.
THE OLD CARS , HAD A SPEED BLOW , RESISTOR BLOCK
THAT FAILS ON ALL SPEEDS BUT HIGH, SO ITS NOT THAT.
OWN A VOLT METER????
HERE IT IS, ANY OF THIS CAN FAIL THIS OLD
WE USES A VOLTMETER TO FIND THE POINT OF FAILURE.
A SHORTED BLOWER MOTOR CAN BLOW LEFT SIDE TOP
FUSABLE LINK.RIGHT FUSE BLOWN MAKES THE CONTROLLER DEAD.

Ac will not work on high in 2004 isuzu rodeo

What is near the motor? This isnt working on HIGH. So its not a resistor. If that is what you are talking about? High isnt connected to a resistor. Its direct power so what would changing the resistor do if the only possible problems are fuse, relay or switch? If it worked on HIGH and not setting one through three then yes it would be the resistor on the ac blower motor if it is still powering on when tested on the low settings.

2001 kia sportage limited blower will not work fuses ok told the resistor maybe the promble is there a way to test the resistor?

It is pretty simple. You either have electrical power going through the resistor assembly and then out of the resistor assembly to ground the motor, or you don't.

The easiest place to check for power making it through the blower resistor is at the blower motor connector.

HINT: If the blower will not work on ANY speeds, including "HIGH", it is NOT caused by the resistor assembly.

I have 2002 infinity I35 and the blower motor stop working ,I took out the blower motor to make sure was good. YES the blower motor still working .the only think I really don't know how to check is Blower...

WELL YOU HAVE TO USE A VOLT METER CONNECT ONE VOLT METER WIRES TO GOOD GROUND AND THE OTHER VOLT METER WIRES GOES TO EACH SWITCH SPEED.IF VOLT METER GET VOLTAGE A 1 OR 2 CONTROL SPEED RESISTOR BAD.IF RESISTOR BAD YOU WILL GET 1 OR 2 BLOWER MOTOR SPEEDS.IF BLOWER MOTOR WORKING.CHECK THE AC AND HEATER CONTROL SWITCH FUSE OR CHECK BLOWER MOTOR FUSE AND RELAY.IF ALL GOOD SO FAR CONTROL SWITCH ITSELF COULD BE FAULTY.

I have three problems- I bought this car used. I was told that the blower motor for the ac/heater may be out. It definitely is. I discovered that it could either be a resistor or the blower motor itself....

Check the fuse or the circuit breaker.?Remove wires at the blower motor. One will be the ground wire, black,in color?? the other will be the hot.If there is only one then the motor is grounded by its mounting. Check wiring diagram.for colors or use an inline fuse 20 amps. in the power test lead Run a ground wire to the other. A premade set of test leads are very helpful. This will test the motor. The fuse may blow if the leads are reversed or the motor is shorted,or draws too much current. If motor tests ok,repair the open.Test the switch and the high speed relay, then the resistor packl All with finction of the blower switch. No slow speeds, bad resistor pack or switch, check resistor(visually),no high speed with switch?Bad highspeed relay. A wiring diagram will be of help,in checking points in the circuit where the color code is used.Without a diagram is a guessing game and takes more time.

Ac relay for f150 fuse box diagrams ac clutch is not working been told its a relay...not sure where its at dont have owners manual

If you did not get an owners manual with your truck ( purchased used ), you can download one from Ford :
https://www.fleet.ford.com/maintenance/owners_manuals/default.asp

The AC clutch solenoid is not in the fuse panel, not sure what relay is AC. There is a Blower motor relay, but this is only if the blower motor does not work in AC, vent or heat.

There is also the Blower motor resistor, but this is usually the blower only works on high, the other speeds are not functioning
