Engine stopped running while driving. Will not re-start even with a jump

The battery starter and alternator would only affect cranking.
Someone will need to find out if it is spark or fuel related to know which system to inspect.

check your fuel pressure should be 35 to 42 with key on engine off,and about 5 to 7 more with engine running and vacuum line off the regulator,also check your fuel regulator with vacuum off it should be dry if it is wet with gas it is bad

Mr Reyes, I personally believe that this is the sign of a timing tooth jumped and it is necessary to ask help from your local mechanic.

I had this same problem with my 2003 H2, my mechanic found that the fuel diaphragm was cracked and this was allowing my truck to flood. If it was a cold start, the extra fuel would evaporate and it would start fine. It actually got to the point where I would stall at a stop light or stop sign at idle. The part was is the neighborhood of $175.00 and about 1 hour of labor to install.

First things first is it automatic? if sow what would u meen by jump when stopped . u stop at traffic sign then it moves forward or the engines revs jump when going down to ideal . plse advise

oil, check engine and battery will always be on when the engine is dead--because there's no oil pressure, nor battery charging. A faulty oil pressure sending would never prevent the engine from starting. You'll have to tow it to a shop to find out why

Make sure the engine is properly tuned. Check tire inflation. Accelerate slowly. Anticipate stops. Probably not what you wanted to hear when your driving a Corvette but there are no magic solutions.

fuel injectors

check your driveshaft from the trans to wheel (both L and R). Possibly it popped out or is disconnected.

no bad battery would not stop a jump, check all cables to bad conection or worn isulation
