For testing, there are some u-tube videos that show each circuit being tested under load. 5v, sensor ground, and sensor signal. need a good meter to check those"hall effect switch" sensors.after trying evrything, THEN buy a pcm and get it flashed with the update. WOT during crank for tests unless u want to disable the fuel pump at the relays for the time of ckp and cam tests
Change the computer .... PCM get a used one it fixed mine had same problem
Could also be the pickup coil which is located close to the distributer
Have you checked the cam sensor. It coincides with the crank sensor to tell it to fire . And it controls the injectors.

its not at the front of head,I think its part of the distributer plate on the 4.0
