It was 20 below thursday night and yesterday morning when I started my car, all of the lights started blinking including the hazard lights. They won't turn off even after you take the key out of the ignition. We unhooked the battery and hooked it back up when it got warmer and the same thing happened. Is there a short? Any ideas?

did you check the fuses?
If so, then check the plug on the steering column....
SOURCE: Can't find the hazard flasher for '93 Subaru Legacy!
they are usually one and the same box fuse...you might try putting in a new one
SOURCE: no brake/hazard lights,have running/turn signal lights
Suggest you change hazard flasher 'can' first, then go to the hazard switch. I'm betting it's the flasher can.
