My 2003 Toyota 4Runner with 127,600 4X4, V6, check engine light (CEL), Vehicle Skid Control (VSC), and VSC off light went on. Went to Autozone and they did OBDII check. The Trouble Code was showing P0355 Ignition Coil "E" Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction. "E" means cylinder 5, so I went to check the ignition coil at 5th cylinder and unscrewed from block and the connector slip-off and appear to have not been on all the way. I started the truck and still recieved Trouble code until I disconnected the battery for 30 minutes. It started again and the service lights never cam back on. It runs just like it had before great. Check all the connectors before ordering ignition coils.

We have had the same problem. The transmission was replaced at a cost of $3000. Then the light still came on and Toyota said it needed a new condensor sensor at a cost of $400. The light came on again and Toyota reset something for free! The lights came on again and Toyota replaced our battery with an 82 month guaranteed one for $120.00 plus labor. We drove away, the lights are still on. Toyota said it needs a new computer at a cost of $1600. We decided to look at the lights.
