My son tried to replace his horn (kept blowing fuses) with an aftermarket horn, and I am going to put back in an OEM replacement. The one he got is a piece of junk
He didn't keep the original horns or wires
The replacement he got is a single note horn, the OEM should be (2) horns, a high note and a low note
Are the 2 horns wired in series....12vdc to one connector on horn #1, jumper cable from horn #1 to horn #2, and connector on horn #2 to ground?

No/ you have 2 horns your right about that but its one wire connector for each horn usually one horn on the right and the other on the left/ the horns should be slide in connector and if he cut them for one doesnt seem right/ I bet that was the problem he tried using the same wire from the original horns when he kind of grounded the horn so it would not work / but there is only one wire per horn/ Please rate my response/ Thank you very much

heres what you should try. unhook battery neg cable, remove horn relay in fuse box under the hood. lock drivers door with the key, reconnect battery, unlock drivers door with key and start the car, reinstall the horn relay and cover the fuse box back up...should be good to go. works for an acura because i just did it the other day!! good luck... oh yea put your horn back on there too. good luck
The saturn horns ARE notorious for failing, you may have to replace the horn because it has a built in horn relay that is the cause of the failure. YOU WILL KEEP BLOWING FUSES if the horn is not working because it's grounding out through the bad relay that is built into the horn. DON'T go with a loud or aftermarket horn if you don't know how to wire it safely or you will fry the clock spring in the steering wheel, just stick with the stock horn and you will be fine.
This sounds like the horn may have a short in it somewhere. Does the horn blow at all? Try this: Make sure you have a good fuse installed to this circuit again. Disconnect the horn and place a volt/ohm meter set to DC volts on the horn connections. If there is just 1 wire going to the horn, put that wire on the red wire of the meter. Put the black wire of the meter to a good ground, preferably the negative battery terminal. Now press the horn and see if there is a reading of around 12 Volts. If so, replace the horn. If not, and the fuse blows again, check the wiring for a fray/short to ground. When you're looking at the horn of course, make sure the positive lead isn't shorting to ground as well.

you may need to put a relay in it as the current from the horn may be back feeding up the immobiliser horn circuit and causing a short. Sounds like the immobiiliser has its own source of power seperate from the factory circuit When you press the horn the power goes to the horn and up the immobiliser horn circuit and it blows the fuse.
You may have some short circuits in your wiring, a bad horn relay or horn unit, and/or a bad wiper motor. Hard to tell without actually looking at it.
Disconnect the horn, and try another fuse. Does it blow? If not, the horn is shorted, and needs replaced. If it blows, remove the horn relay & try another fuse. Same with the wiper motor, unplug it and try another fuse. If it does not blow, you need a wiper motor.
