I want to replace the existing interior rear view mirror that has the passenger air bag warning on it with a mirror that has external weather temp and compass. My old mirror only has 3 wires going to it and the new mirror has numerous. How or where do I find a wiring diagram to install?
Running wires from external sensors is going to be a difficult job because you have to drop the headliner and the left A post cover for access to the wires. There are manuals available at auto parts stores that have diagrams, but you need to be sure that it covers the wiring for the new mirror.

Always refer to your owners manual, but if there is no key switch in the glove box, you probably have the sensor system which monitors weight in the passenger seat. If you have more than 30lbs in the seat the airbag is "on" and the sensors are activated. Otherwise the passenger side is off if the seat is empty.
many thing can be. I recommend to pass the RGBII/computer for better diagnostic, do not waste your time+money. The electronic tech in vehicles is sophisticated. Maybe the BCM is faulty. By that reason you must go to the repair shop. The alternator inside the rectifier can be faulty, and need replace, or windin stator+rotor can be in short and need replace.
the load relais can be faulty. However you pass the RGBII/computer for better diagnostic. The electronic tech now is very complicated. The BCM, can be faulty this controll all the circuit in the car, do not waste you time and money. God bless you
You'll need to remove screws that are by the door handle,
arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the
panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want
to break them. then pop off the cover beside the mirror and remove the bolts
