I have a 2003 mitsubishi lancer. Everytime I try to turn my key from the ignition to start my car my fuse 4 (40A) blows up I replaced it twice but the new fuse just keeps blowing up:/ what's going on? Someone told it it could be wires that's loose but I don't know where it could be located at....if anybody knows the answer or have an idea what it could be feel free to respond:D thanks!

There is a major electrical fault that keeps blowing the fuse. The fuse protects that part of the electrical circuit, 40 amps is heavy electrical circuit, it it wasn't protected by a fuse it car could catch on fire.
You need to get an auto electrician or your Mitsubishi service center to locate the fault and repair.
If you had a wiring diagram for your car then you can trace the wiring from the 40A fuse to the various components to locate the wiring fault or component fault.

SOURCE: 30 amp ignition fuse in engine compartment blows at start

It sounds like a bad ignition switch or something is grounding out.Try to isolate the problem to key positions.See if the fuse blows when you turn the key to ACC(when your dash lights come on without starting)If the fuse does not blow then when you go to start it and it blows it could be one of many problems, the more common ones could be ignition switch, wiring, starter relay, starter soleniod,or perhaps the starter itself is shorting out, this can sometimes happen when a starter goes bad.

SOURCE: ignition fuse keeps blowing when i turn the key

It MUST be the starter relay coil - or the power wire that feeds it. Likely a short in the relay coil (AKA starter selenoid).

Your starter is drawing too much current. Recommend you replace the starter. Perhaps you can do it yourself using my tips at http://www.fixya.com/cars/r5973094-starter_replace.

2003 mitsubishi lancer wont turn on right have to turn twice

I think you mean that the engine does not start first time you crank the starter. A common problem is a coil pack. If you car has a distributor, there's a coil pack inside it that is failing. Might also be the coolant temperature sensor that provides a signal to the engine computer.

My 2003 mitsubishi lancer es standard 5 gears signal lights arent working neither are my bright lights and my windshield wipers only are working on high ?

Sounds like a bad fuse. There are fuse boxes under the hood as well as inside. Try swapping the same number fuses with each other. If what you swap for starts working replace the fuse you swapped with. Alot of times there is a fuse puller in fuse box case and spare fuses.

Trouble Starting the 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer

The most common cause for no crank is the neutral safety switch.
On automatic trans cars it keeps you from cranking the engine in drive or reverse. On manual trans cars you have to push the clutch in.
I would want to know if the starter is getting power from the key switch when the switch is in the start position.

Have to turn key back and forth several times before car starts

Sounds like either your ignition switch is going bad or you have a dead spot in your starter in either case you have to replace it
