Mr Goforth. I just read your question.
what you have scanned fault codes have nothing to do with your today issue. Since you tried starting the car by jumping the battery tapping the starter motor with negative results, I advice you to check whether you might face : a) not clean to contact battery terminals, b) no good Earthing wiring, c) Ignition Fuse or Relay blown, d) Ignition switch lock not working. Good Luck.
First thing to do is run a fuel pressure leakdown test. borrow or buy a fuel pressure test gage for you car and hook it to the fuel injection rail test port, then start the engine and shut it off the pressure should not drop by more than 5 PSI, if overnight it drops to near zero PSI you have a failed fuel pump pressure check valve and you need a new fuel pump. Also clean the throttle valve and the idle speed control valve with spray throttle valve cleaner.

Fuse, wiring, starter, security, ignition switch. Just to name a few. It needs to be on a scanner to find codes. You can throw away several hundreds of dollars replacing good parts.
sounds like the ignition control switch has gone bad. all light will come one but if you turn to start and nothing happen but works with remote starter then the first thing to get checked is the ignition control switch.
Check for power at the switch wire when someone turns the key to start. I would say there is a break in the circuit of the thin wire between the starter & the ignition switch
Hello: When you turn the key to run does the lights on the dash light up? ie, alt/bat, check engine light, oil press light, air bag light if these and several other lights come on you may have a failed pass-lock system. A scanner can check for codes to that problem. If that is the problem the ignition lock cylinder will need replacing and programming.
sounds like you have an ignition problem, check the ignition fuse under the hood sounds like the fuse is blown, if that dosent work check your starter solinoid
