My transmission will not shift properly. obd 2 reveals the following codes
p0706,p0841,p0933/p0731 and p0876 Reverse gear will only sometimes (usually afetr erasing the codes)work while other times forward gears will not work. goes straight to 4th gear in drive and moves with a sluggish hesitation. i think its a sensor issue but where are they located?

P0706 Code Definition
The P0706 code is a generic powertrain code related to the transmission. This code is non-emission related. The transmission range sensor circuit is not communicating correct data to the engine control module (ECM). This code only applies to vehicles with an automatic transmission.
code p0876 refers to transmission fluid pressure (TFP) sensor D---range /performance problem===causes --wiring--poor connections--TFP sensor--ECM/TCM
check the sensor /replace or check the TCM (transmission control module)
code p0841 refers to TFP sensor A--same as the first code and same causes and fix suggestions
p0731 transmission shift problems
p0841 solinoid problems in the transmission
p0846 fluid level
p0700 solinoid stuck or sticking hard shifting
there is a solinoid in the transmission that shifts the trans and downshifts when stopping this is a problem you generally don't want to do your self
