Question. Have a 95 GMC Sierra K-1500. Have a very severe shake during driving. Does not happen all the time. Speed limits vary, but usually around 30 to 40 mph. Checked motor mounts,, trany mounts, and rims. All good. The truck really shacks extensively until I let off throttle. Any ideas????
It sounds like a sticking brake caliper!
First make sure you have the wheels balanced at your tire store, after doing this,, drive it again and if it still shakes, then have the front end joints inspected for wear.
Usualy it is a lost wheel weight, getting them balanced usualy fixes this.
Bad universal joint
