Cd says mechanism error. Cannot use cd or pop out cd

Your CD mechanism is jammed. You'll need to take the head unit apart to determine the source of the jam.

What could be wrong if my cd player goes off if i turn on heater or windsheild wipers

That sounds like the positive (+) wire from your CD player is connected to a power source that is not constant when the ignition key is on, Melissa. Find a source of positive power at your ignition switch when it is turned on.

How do I fix my CD player in a 2002 GMC Denali

It depends on what it is or isn't doing....no power? Check source and wiring. No sound? Check speakers and wiring. If your discs don't play, the player may be jammed or the laser could have malfunctioned, etc. regardless of the issue, you will have to remove the stereo to diagnose/repair it. Since you would already have the assumed stock stereo out of the dash, why not just replace it with a much better quality one for under the price of repairing/wasting time with the stock p.o.s. Most stereo retailers have adapter plugs and dash inserts to make installation simple.

My 2000 Land Cruiser's Cd player is stuck gives me an ERROR 3, how to fix Easily?

easily, what things complex fix easy, name it?
its bad or jammed.
1 or the other.
how does a tech know;
1;check DC power to unit. good yes, bad fuse bad.
2: remove unit and look for damage inside, debris, etc, dust, dirt.
if unit is clean and not jammed, its bad.
look for junk jammed in sensors inside unit or load mechanism jam ups
is this easy, it is to me, but others want magic?
ok magic.
take it out and blow it with clean shop air .
just look at , it, is there a broken CD in side, or label fell of?
dirty optics,?
cars = dirt, and fail fast.

clean it and pray, just about all parts on car are like that.
or replace it. as the big spenders do.

I have a 94 Honda accord just recently put a new jvc CD player in and has no power then tried the old CD player and same luck I changed all fuses and still nothing the cig adapter works on the panel and...

You need to see if your power wire has power to it. use a dvom or a test light if your getting power from your power source and the unit still does not work them you need to check out another ground source for your ground wire.

If there is no power on your power wire then I would run power directly from the battery source like your cig adapter.

VW Golf MK3 1.9 TDI electrical or audio problem

the electrical system is fine. 14.3 is what the alternator should be putting out to compensate for the loads from all the electrical stuff that make up your car. the battery isn't designed to hold, put out more than 12.8 (or about there). the CD player is 12+ years old. if it spins, put a cd lense cleaner disk in there and see if that works.

CD Player

on one CD, I had to send it back to the mfg. (thank you warranty). They returned the CD in about 3 mo.

Else, i found that using burned CDs, they expand with heat and get jammed. Run the AC in the cab for a while w/o the radio then use another CD or tool and wiggle it in the slot. Usually the CD will eject then.
