2004 Sebring -- Opening the under hood fuse box.

I had some chunks of ice trapped under the windshield -- which were impeding the windshield wiper blades from working -- but I didn't realize the wipers were turned on. I shut the wipers off and cleared the ice, but now the wipers don't work. I can hear the motor whir -- but the wipers won't go up and down. Is it a blown fuse or a blown wiper motor? My pocket book hopes it's a blown fuse -- but I can't open the fuse box under the hood. Does anybody know how to open the fuse box?

Where is the relay for the windsheild wipers on a 2004 f-550

The windshield wiper relay on a 2004 Ford F-550 is typically located in the fuse box under the hood. The fuse box is usually located near the front of the vehicle, on the driver's side. To find the windshield wiper relay, you will need to refer to your vehicle's owner's manual or a wiring diagram for the vehicle. The owner's manual should have a diagram of the fuse box that will show you the location of the windshield wiper relay. Alternatively, you can search online for a wiring diagram for your vehicle.

Once you have located the fuse box, you may need to remove a cover to access the fuses and relays. Look for a fuse or relay labeled "wiper" or "wiper relay" to find the windshield wiper relay. If you are having trouble finding the windshield wiper relay, you may want to consider consulting a mechanic or taking your vehicle to a dealership for assistance.

Windshield wipers do not work. Car sat one day. Worked fine previously. 2004 Nissan Maxima. Had about 3" snow. No ice on car. Temp around 32 or 33 degrees. Brushed snow from car. Came off...

when you turn the wipers on do you hear any sound? If so, then you may have disconnected a ball joint in there behind the firewall - typically the top (black) panel (under the wipers/ at the back of the hood) comes off or you could find other access to inspect more thoroughly to be sure. If no sound, test the power to the wiper motor with a test light, if no power, check fuses, wiring, ground, etc.,

Help stuck n storm..where is fusebox 2004 murano windshieldwipers

There's no need to remove the fuse to change wiper blades.
If there are electrical problems the fuse locations are driver's bottom left near steering wheel, and under the hood. Under the hood is the ipdm located on the passenger side near the alternator. More fuses can be found beside the battery.
If your wiper motor runs but wipers don't move, the linkage is disconnected.
