Its right at the Top on the Valve cover you will see a Black hose that runs from the valve cover to the Intake Plenum the PCV valve will be on the Valve cover side its a little plastic thingy that is connected to the Hose that slips into the hole to the valve cover its a 1 min fix providing you have the PCV valve :))

The pcv valve is located at the rear of the valve cover. connected to a rubber line, going to the intake manifold. it pulls right out by hand. no tools or needed.

Throttle seems stuck on a 1995 ford probe as when engine is started it races with no control

This sounds like a major vaccum leak or a stuck IAC(idle air control) motor.Look for a loose/broken vacuum line(a large hose feeds the brake booster and the PCV valve).(my stepson's Sable had a rotten vacuum elbow).

I have a 89 F150 how can I cause my transmission to shift fasterit seems very slow ,and where is the PCV located on this engine V6 -4.9, thx

PCV valves on engines that old will be found plugged into a valve cover. looks like a thumb sized item with a vacuum hose attached to the top. do yourself a favor and get a new piece of hose and a new grommet which fits into the valve cover. PCV valves are simple little critters, can be cleaned by a good soak in gasoline, and problems with them usually relate to vacuum leaks at each end.

for the ****** use some magic fluid like marvel or lucas found at parts stores, along with a fluid and filter change. you are not going to do any real maintenance or repair on a ****** that old. you just rebuild it.

89 ford v-8 e-350 fleetwood blue smoke coming out the exhaust what would problem be?

blue smoke is usually caused by oil getting into the cylinder combustion area, either past rings, valve seals, or valve guides, all being expensive to fix-first though, check the PCV system for leaks or a plugged PCV.

Sounds like lifter or valve tick. It's a friends car and he recently had the head done. The car is a 89' ford probe 2.7 Liter sohc

Chek oil, and if it seems to thick, put a can of ehgine flush it the oil fill, then run for a minute to five minutes, then drain oil and go with a 20wght oil. If the lifer still knocks or ticks, replace lifter.
