Sunroof will not reset after following the reset procedure instructed in the manual. It stops a few inches short from closing and only the TILT button will close it completely

This one is simple
1. Remove dip stick and filler cap.
2. Remove oil plug from oil pan and drain oil into an appropriate pan.
3. Remove and replace oil filter. (Filter will drain oil, just be aware to try and get it into the pan.
4. Refill oil. Start with 3.5 quarts, put cap and dip stick back on and start car, wait about 10 seconds and then turn off.
5. Check your dipstick for proper oil level.
And thats it you are done.
SOURCE: MY SUNROOF WONT CLOSE
Check the owner's manual. There should be a section showing how to manually close the sunroof. You will use an allen wrench to turn the gears manually, I just don't know exactly what size or where the hole is located. It is typically located right behind the sunroof with a plug covering the hole in the headliner.

An easy fix, if the check engine light is on find an Auto Advance, they can clear the code for you. Any auto parts store may be able to as well, Auto Zone is another one that may be able to help.

The air bag light can only be reset by a diagnostic CPU or the local dealer ship.
SOURCE: Interior sunroof shade is stuck closed
a solution that i had is that if you can open your sunroof without it opening ur shade try that then fold the shade by pushing between or in the middle of it and popout the shade. this works but try not to push to hard or you can break the plastic runners on the side of the shade. check to see if nothing is in the way of the runners. then put back the back part first then slide it all the way to the back then, do the other part and clip them back together (there might be a little metal piece that pushes your shades back so check that first to see if its there first)

Manual said I should push the OPEN button for 10 seconds until I heard the click (I did). Then release. Then within 3 seconds press again the OPEN button for another 5 seconds and let it go through the OPEN-CLOSE procedure. I released the OPEN button too early and since then it is messed up
Now the CLOSE button will make the sunroof close until about 2 inches from full closure. Then only the TILT will finish it off completely. If I then press OPEN nothing happens. If I press CLOSE it opens to about 2 inches. After that "OPEN" will pull it open all the way (and I think it is pushing it a little extra than usual)
Did you find a solution to this. I'm experiencing the same thing.
