It is under the dash , this is the best picture i can find, it is from the fire wall side looking into the dash , kinda reversed from looking at it from inside the car view , but i think you can find it . you see the steering wheel at the top of picture ,

Where is the flasher located on a 97 chevy lumina sedan

Try looking up under the dash just above the brake pedal. If you still can't find it turn on the 4 ways because turn signal and 4 ways use the same flasher on that model. You should be able to hear it clicking. Good luck.

Beware...some GM cars , especially 94-96 were made with two flashers in them. One was for the emergency flashers and the other was for the directional. If you flashers are located under the dash by the steering wheel look around you will see the other one. Be sure to replace it with the proper one.

The turn signals do not work when you use the signal switch. However, the emergency flashers do work. The fuse was checked and is good. Everything else on the signal stem works: the cruise control,...

if the fuse is good and all the lights work(if you checked them when the hazards were working)then you need a signal flasher, the signals have a separate flasher and it looks like the hazard flasher.if you turn on the hazards and look for it under the dash then you know what the signal flasher looks like,it is located on the fuse panel of in that area.

Finding the the flasher fuse for my turn signals

If you have the owner's manual look under fuses and it should tell you where the turn signal flasher is. If not, it will be a small square plastic box located either on the main fuse panel under or around the dash or it could also be located in the high amp fuse box under the hood. Please rate this answer, thanks.

Where is the turn signal anf hazard relay switch located? Both are not working. Thanks.

Look into bulb function. It is unlikely that both flashers would fail. All lights must work correctly, first.

1998 taurus - turn signals were working - pushed the hazard lights button - hazards did not work and also now turn signals do not work

Check the fuse/relay panel for a blown fuse/relay. Also look at the turn signal flasher and the four way flasher located in fuse/relay panel for problem. If the fuses are good replace the flashers to correct the problem. Hope this will help you.

96 taurus no turn signals

Try pushing the emergency flasher button in and out a few times.Dirt and liquid can get inside the turn signal switch, causing the contact problems. This is a common problem, and replacement of the switch might be nessesary
