Engine starts fine ideas fine if you hold down the accellorater to 3000 rpms in about 30sec. engine wants to die drops rpm shakes shutters. have to play with accellorater to keep running. if you bring back down to idea it will idea fine. try to drive it same thing got about 1000 ft down the road
Fuel pump or fuel system issues start there
Check fuel filter and also clean the MAF sensor as there may be dirt on on sensor.
Common problems
1. fuel filter clog and fuel pump stop working
2. Crankshaft sensor (spark is cut during high demand)
3. Air filter clog (not enough air during high rpm

check thermostat it could hang open, first check temp. guage, pull off sender wire and ground it for 4 seconds and see if guage moves.

Like to other guy said, give it a tuneup. Also try SEAFOAM to clean carb up of slug. Also check to make sure the butter fly for the choke has not come loose, causing it the choke it down. Failed choke pull-off.
