Wont start again after driving

Hi, I have a 2000 nissan maxima. The problem started couple days ago after I jumped started another car. It starts fine and runs great but if I drive for 30mins it wont start again when I turn it off. If I wait an hour or so it will. It doesnt turn over or anything but know my battery isnt dead because everything comes on and its a new battery.

car wont turn over, like dead battery. I replaced battery and starter. started and ran fine for 5 days . now back to same problem??

Have somene try to start the car while you listen under the hood for the weird sound of something spinning it kinda sound like something griding. sometimes it occurs 2 to 3 seconds after turning the key. if you hear that sound then it's your starter i just had the same problem about a day ago . it's easy to fix i took mine out and had it rebuilt for 55 bucks reinstaled it and it started right up. here's a that will guide you through the repairing process.. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2076435

I suggest that you take the starter motor to an accredited auto electrician as it indicates a dry joint problem in the armature bars
the fix is
the bars can be re-soldered
or My preference -- a new armature

2000 nissan frontier xe. starter went out, replaced started. worked for a couple days and went out again, starter had factory defect, put new starter in and still wont turn over,just clicks a lot. all

When you get your Frontier started after jump starting it, does it stay running? If it does, you probably just have a bad battery. If you have a battery and brake icon come on, on your dash, you probably have a bad alternator. you could go to auto zone and they will be able to test your battery.

My 2000 Nissan Maxima will not start-no clicking, just dead. The battery was tested and is good.

You probably need a new starter. Try locating the starter and hit on it 2 or 3 times, then try starting the vehicle again......If it starts then you need a new starter.

My car is not start when the key on to start the moter all light are become off, 2 days ago i used jamper the car is start but naw it is not start, what is the problem of this car?

If I understand the problem correctly , when you jumped the car two days ago it started. But now it will not. First place to start is the cables on the battery, are they correded or loose? they need to be cleen and tight. If not that then the battery may be bad.

I cleaned my engine and now it wont start,but if jump start it,its ok until i shut it off and then try to turn it on again

sounds like your starter motor got wet,poss answer is take it for a long drive,say 20 mls,or let it tick over for a couple of hours or if a nice sunny day lift the hood and leave it all day..if it dont work after that its gonna cost....

has the car got an immobiliser switch in the car or it may have an electrical fault so it would need an electrical engineer to have a look at it hope i have helped you
