Steering wheel alignment

You probably can't.
If you hit the wheel hard enough to change the angle of camber, you probably bent the lower control arm.
I would take it to a couple different shops for estimates.
Don't be surprised if they tell you the control arm has to be replaced in addition to a 4 wheel alignment.

Really the safest way to do it is with a front-end alignment. A part called the Pitman arm is attached to the steering box. It has grooves cut in it and matches the indentations in the box. You remove the arm from the box and slide it off, then center the steering wheel and reattach the arm.

The difficult part is separating the arm from the box. The nut sizes are substantial and sometimes required a puller and heat. The problem is the steering wheel should have been centered at an alignment shop.

Assuming the steering wheel started out centered, the tierod ends, tierods, and any links are now worn or bent causing the steering wheel to be out of place.
Your alignment could be off with one side or the other having too many twists or too few. This is a sign that the tierod ends were changed since the last alignment.

Your best and safest bet is to get a good front-end alignment and tell them you want the steering wheel centered and tires aligned.

Camber and caster settings are off. Have 4 wheel alignment done by a good shop and save your nice tires. Out of alignment will make steering feel heavy and wear tires fast!

Since your BMW 540 series is a rear wheel drive car, a common cause of that sort of vibration is often the U joints on your drive shaft. The vibration often only shows up and certain speeds.

It isn't a particularly expensive repair, but is something to have checked out!

this could just be the result of it having had an alignment while it had the old parts on it. re-centering the steering wheel is a standard step each time the alignment is done. in fact, it is done early in the procedure so that all wheel adjustments are made after the wheel is affixed to center

Have you had a alignment recently? They will check the steering components for problems and let you know if any exist. If not, they will adjust the wheels to manufacturer spec.

Per your description, I would take a look at your suspension components, tie-rod ends, steering rack mounts, ball joints and wheel bearings.
After the "wish bone" busings were replaced, was the car re-aligned? If the toe-in is not correct, it can cause the condition you describe.
Be very carful driving until you root cause the problem as you could easily loose control of the vehicle from a steering component failure.

put the front tires on the back and see if it changes.
alot of times,if the suspension is defective it wears the tires uneven ,out of round.
check and make sure the wheel nuts are tight and torqued properly.
alot of techs use just the gun,and not a torque stick and overtighten the wheel nuts.
