When i start my 2007 Accord 2.4L seden in the morning it sounds clattery, but most deffinetly under excelleration.

I took it to the honda dealership 3 times and they claim that they cant hear anything, though numerous passangers asked why my car sounds like that. They told me if they could here it they would fix it, so until then they really cant fix anything. Only other solution was replacing the whole motor, hmm. One thing they said they could try was adjusting valves, which was done the second time i brought it in. Still the same clattery sound as i excellerat and nothing changed. The oil levels are good in the car as i and they have checked. Ive had the car 5 months now, got one month left on my warranty and have gotten no were on this motor noise.!!

SOURCE: 1995 honda accord won't start

Sounds either like the solenoid on the starter is bad or the starter its self.First try turning on your head lights and then trying to start it.If it starts then you have some bad connections either on the battery or the starter. next if that doesnt work Try hitting the starter with a hammer while someone else cranks it.If it starts then the starter is bad..

SOURCE: my honda accord 92 stops all of a sudden

You should check your main relay located in the drivers side (click here for picture)
You can open it if you wish and do a visual inspection for burned or cracked solder points to make sure that is your problem.

Hope it helps =]

SOURCE: car won't start when it's hot outside

My daughter's 1991 Honda Accord did the same thing. I discovered that the main relay had to be replaced. Apparently the solder used in the original main relay was poor and would actually "soften" in the heat and cause a disconnection. When the cabin temperature dropped, the solder would cool and reconnect. Anyway, replacing the main relay worked. My daughter's car has not had this problem since.

Turn wrench off on 2013 accord seden

The wrench tells you that you need an oil change, or other servicing. You can check in your user manual for the procedure. For my Honda vehicle, I hold the odometer reset button until the wrench starts flashing, then I release the reset button for a fraction of a second, then press it again until the wrench turns off. You will need to hold it for about 10 seconds at first, before it starts flashing. You might need to have the ignition switch on, without the motor turning.

My 2007 chrysler Sebring has a whinning noise when starts. After it starts, it sounds like knocking on the left side which is the passenger side under the hood.

I have the same problem with mine. We just took it to the dealership this morning and they said it was the alternator. Said they have been seeing alot of these. My dealership wanted to charge $800 to fix it, so now my husband is trying to replace it himself.

Check your oil level? If not do that 1st and get back to whoever did the maintenance NOW before the engine blows. Because it sure sounds like they did something wrong.

most likely exhaust leak, they were popular for the egr tube to leak, you can hear more under the hood vs standing beside the car, tube can be purchased from dealership, but to note, most exhaust places inspect for free to give a more accurate estimate, but yes sounds like exhaust

good luck

My car is a 92 honda accord. it starts up when it wants too.

I had the EXACT same problem with my 92 accord about 5 or 6 years ago. I took it to a bunch of different mechanics who couldn't figure it out, so I finally took it to a Honda dealership and they knew exactly what was wrong (apparently it was fairly common in 92 Accords). It had to do with the electrical system, but I don't remember the exact problem as it was some time ago. I would take it to a good Honda dealership and they should be able to take care of it. And FYI, back then it cost about $150-$200 to fix...

Maybe you need new spark plugs or you have a leak in your fuel rail.I would get it checked out by a good mechanic because if you smell gas you run the risk of a fire.

2007 Accord engine number

Yes motor companies keep a system of information as to what exact parts were installed on each vehicle they produce via your VIN. Most Honda certified dealerships and some engine rebuild shops can look it up for you.
