When i start the car, some times i have power at the heater controls, means it's lite up and controls move from floor to defrost ect. then it will all just disappear. when it is on i get no heat, and no blower. fuses are good.car does not over heat at all. the low coolent light is on full time. have checked thermostat, water pump and hoses, all get hot. summer time hot air comes out from all vents. winter time or colder days i get nothing. have had control unit out and cleaned all connections. the steering wheel has controls in it also, all looked good there too.

Could be a vaccum line leaking not changing the vent flap to defrost

A common problem is that the electric fan will not operate. You need to determine if the fan is coming on when the vehicle gets warm.
When you replaced the coolant, were you sure that you got all of the air out of the cooling system? If you have any air in the system, it will cause your system to run hot!

There seems to be an air pocket or no antifreeze in engine block. Try this method disconnect upper radiator hose and pour water directly into hose down into engine block until it full. when its filled reconnect hose and fill up radiator. as the vehicle warms up open bleeder valve on the thermostat housing and release air from system. open slowly and BE VERY CAREFUL WATER WILL BE HOT, bleed until you get a steady stream opening and cosing valve. However if all of this don't work. You may have a bad pump. Good Luck

TAKE RADIATOR CAP OFF WITH ENGINE COLD AND CHECK WATER ..MAKE SURE RADIATOR NOT BLOCKED,,PLASTIC BAG ETC. THIS SOUNDS LIKE LOW WATER OR RADIATOR ..STOPPED UP INSIDE ..IF YOU HAVE GOOD HEAT IT'S FULL OF WATER. REPLACE T STAT B4 RADIATOR..IT'S CHEAPER. ALSO CHECK FOR RADIATOR COOLING FAN OPPERATION..I,M RULING OUT THE WATER PUMP.
