I had a remote starter installed in the truck, now the dash guage lights and climate control light won't work. Other lights are ok, high beam, turn signals, brake, etc... work fine. Tried unhooking remote starter plugs and looking for pinched or bare wires, removed the gauge cluster and still blows fuses,turn the lights on and they dont pop imediately and the headlight switch heats up very hot. The fuse blows if the dimmer is twisted to full power. Ive replaced headlight switch and checked all connections on remote starter, they seem covered and ok. not sure what to do.

I have seen once before that the fuse box was bad on a 2003 Dodge 3500. I had power in and nothing out. We had to replace the box. Not cheap! Hope it is simple like a loose connection though. I think I had to pull the inner fender on the drivers side to access the bottom of the fuse box. Pain in the ****, but...
