Hi. I am currently unable to open my Peugeot 3008 2013 rear drivers side door at all. How do i remove the interior door panel please to see whats going on? Thanks.

Start at top front corner with forked pry after removing door handles and door pulls Most clips are hidden behind door closer around wheel arch and unable to be removed. you may have to make long sharp bladed chisel style tool to cut plastic plugs between door card and metal. Remove inner felt seal and should be able to get coat hanger modified to pull inner door wire leading to locking mechanism

How can I disassemble the driver's door to repair the power window without breaking it?

You have a major problem. Either the window regulator or the clips that hold the window on broke. My guess is the regulator because of the cable. To disassemble the door look for the screws holding the inner panel on remove them don't forget the one in the door pull and behind door handle. Carefully pry panel off remember there is some clips holding the panel on. Disconnect any wiring connection and carefully lift panel up towards top of door do not force. You will see a cover of some sort remove it. You are in door and should be able to see the problem

Installing driver side interior door handle

pull the inner panel off by first un screwing the two screws located on the handle portion of the panel(they may have plastic hadeaway covers over the heads) then remove the window rolldown handle(if so equipped, manual window)then pull the plastic trangle from the inner of the mirror(this little tri angle keeps the trim down and secure on the door. then pull the palnel directly out there are small clasp pins in behind the panel try not to break these(but they do sell replacements at your local auto store) you will have to get ALL of these free then wiggle the panel up releasing it from the inner shell of the door and and window. you should now have a clean view of the handle. you will now need to droll out the rivit holding the handle to the inner steel of the door. pull the handle forward and it should be released from the inner steel now there clips holding the "rods" to the handles back side, they should have a little piece clipped to the rodto un clip these you need only push them off with your thumb. then replace handle with the new one, and uce a large steel screw to secure the handle when replacing back on door.

I have a susuki forenza and I need to replace the driver's side door handle. I already have the new part (door handle).

On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls. Then you can remove the inner door handle and replace with new one. If it's your outer door handle, pull back the weather seal and disconnect the linkage to the outer door handle and then remove the bolts securing the outer handle to the door

How to remove interior door panel on a 1997 caravan with ower windowq

Start by removing the negative battery cable from the battery. Then locate and remove the screws that hold the interior door handles in place (they may be hidden by snap in, or snap on covers). Once you have removed the interior door handles, disconnect the wire clips that go to your window and door lock controls.
I personally use a small pry bar to remove the interior door panel; it is held in by plastic snap clips. Try to get as close to, or directly under the snap clips as possible with your pry bar to prevent them from tearing out of the door panel. Once you have released the snap clips, pull the panel upward to remove it. Install in reverse.

I hope this information helps you, and I wish you luck on your repair.

How remove the rear inside door panel on a 2001 oldmobile aurora

The inner door panel is held in by clips and screw.
Look at the door near the door handle there should be screws holding it in and along the outer edge of the door. Once loose, and the door handle removed or the arm rest removed. The door panel then prys out , because of the clips that hold it on. Then pops out by applying pressure to the panel upward to the top of the door. The clips always break because of the design and plastic.

Good luck

Side sliding door

The trick is that there is a small clip holding the inside handle in place. Push the panel in and grab it with small needle nose or forceps.

Then remove all the interior panels.

There are seven torx screws holding the intern latch into the door frame, and three interconnecting bars between the outer and inner inner handles.

Once you have the ability to move the inner assemble around you can get to the two metric nuts holding the exterior handle.

The lock assembly is removed by depressing the metal latch on the bottom of the handle assemble after the handle is fully removed.

Reverse and replace and that's it. (don't for get to have extra plastic door panel clips as they will break as you remove the interior panels)

Overall - I would suggest to just take it to the dealer or to a body shop. I'm told they would do it for about $75. I took about 2 hrs to do this and if you are even a bit shaky and drop anything into the door, it is game over. Next time I will do the dealer thing.

How do you repair a gmc sierra 1998 inside door handle

You have to remove the door panel, if you have roll down windows the handle will have to be removed. After panel is removed you have to drill the one rivet that hols the interior handle. slide the handle down and unfasten the rod retaining clip. Please make sure you do not break the clip. Install the new interior door handle, clip and provided fasteners. Try the door before you install the interior door panel, Note the is a good time to lube the window roller and the door mechanism. Make sure to install the water shield to provide the protecting from the elements. Line all the plastic retaining clips and or replace if they are broken. Good Luck.
