Heat seems to be working, but isn't blowing out

I think it is the fan, how hard is that to change out?
1996 Dodge Caravan. Sometimes we could hit the dash and it would start to blow out, but that isn't working anymore

In LHD vehicles, you need to remove the glove box first. You will see the motor housing with 3 screws. Unplug the wiring harness and remove it. Dorman makes replacements while Valeo is the OEM supplier. (I picked up one from a junk yard for $20.) While you are at it, remove the resistor from it's place from inside the engine bay attached up high on the firewall. Remove the connector and just pry it out slowly from the engine bay side. The interior side of it can be seen from under the glove box, looks like a rectangular metal grid.)

Relay switch for fans on 99 dodge caravan keeps blowing causine engine to over heat ng

If the relay is getting too hot, the most common problem is a faulty radiator fan. The fan motor pulls current thru the relay. The radiator fan motor may be failing after it runs for a period of time.

Dodge caravan air conditioning fan not blowing

I would turn the fan on with the van off and listen to see if just the blower is working at all or a slower speed. . If you have a volt meter you could make sure it was getting power by unplugging the wire to it and testing there.. If you have power then the blower motor is the problem . If it was a resister it would not work at all normally. or it would work on one speed but not another speed in most cases.. I would think by the age of it more likely a bad blower fan motor .the part is about 73 dollars to replace complete with fan and the resisters are 15-20 at your local auto parts store .
This could also be a wire harness issue with the resister plug which supplies the power to the blower . it very common that the wires got hot and melted from old age or from a blower that was old and drawing too much power .The resister and harness or located under the hood on the firewall of the passenger side of the van .Yes there is a fuse for the blower fan under the dash .If it has blown it could be the blower drawing too much power.or other issues .
Yes we sure do feel the heat here in Florida .

My 1996 doge grand caravan in blowing cooling fan fuse why

The cooling fan fuse may be blowing because the fan motor has gone bad. Check with the fuse out, and motor off grab the fan and wiggle it, if it wiggles this is your problem, and solution is to replace fan or complete assembly. GOOD LUCK.

I have a 1996 dodge caravan and the trany blue so

The van has several issues... I may not cover all of them here:

1. The rpm tac wire is not seated properly at the tranny.
2. The "ground" is not making a good connection; maybe the ground strap was removed and not replaced. Purchase a "ground strap" ($12) at an auto parts store (AutoZone?) and connect it from the engine to a convenient location on the chassis .

That should clear the rpm and the ****.

Comments anyone??

Brakes

Yes you have anti lock brake system. If you changed your pads and the brakes still seem really soft or when you hit them hard your car is still moving and not a real **** down then you most likely are getting air into the system somewhere. Also did you get the rotors turned or just changed the pads?
