It is located on the front passenger side of the car, in the dash. It will be located behind your glove box. Here is a link to help you out.

SOURCE: Are there cabin filters on a 2003 Chevy Tahoe???

1 Tools needed are a Phillips screwdriver and a socket wrench. Open door to passenger side of vehicle. 2 Under the glove compartment is a kick plate cover held in place by four screws. Remove the screws and take off cover. 3 The door to the cabin filter is now visible. Remove screw in door and unhinge. 4 Remove the first filter by pulling straight down. Remove the second filter by sliding forward and pulling down. Replace with clean cabin filters. Reattach door and kick plate cover.
Good luck and hope this helps.

SOURCE: cabin air filter 2003 chevy tahoe

Yes there is. It is under the dash on the passenger side of the car. Just under the glove box. There is two screws holding it in place. You will see a strait line on the heater box and it is behind it.

How do you change cabin air filter? Have removed cover under glove box, but can not find air filters on 2003 tahoe

You are in the right area. Not all models have cabin air filters. If you call a Chevy dealer and give the parts department you VIN# they can look it up and tell you if your particular madel has one and where it is located.

Trying to locate cabin air filter in 2003

The 2002/2003 Silverado was a change over year for Cabin Air filters. I know with the Chevy Avalanche the 03's did not have them and 02's did. The dash/center console changed with the 03's, and I believe it was done away with in that change over.... Still shows up on catalog, but the 03 has no Cabin Filter.

Good luck, and Merry Christmas

On a 05' tahoe the bottom of the glove box area is different than the earlier years (00'01'02') and would like to get a better answer to where the cabin air filters are. Please help.

The dashes are the same.
The cabin air filters do not exsist on a 2005 tahoe. Gm didn't put them in after the 2003 year model in the trucks and suv's.

Yes. It's under the glove box, behind the plastic cover. On the very bottom ther will be three screw (7mm) take those out next there will be a thin plastic cover that has another 7mm screw in the back towards the firewall. The filter will slide staight down, and there are two. Slide the first one out then slide the second one out.
