Hi Dennis, I'm glad to help!

Dennis, sense I'm not there to actually do diagnostics I'll tell you some things you can check and possibly lead you to the repair that needs to be done. Here we go: (1) Check the coolant level in the radiator. CAUTION: Do this only when the vehicle is cold and has not been driven for a while because of the hot coolant that will burn you when you remove the radiator cap. If the coolant is full, then reinstall the radiator cap because this is not the problem with your heat. (2) Drive the vehicle until it is at operating temperature. Then take your hand and check the heat from the heater core hoses. Both hoses should be to hot to hold, it one hose is to hot to hold and the other only some what warm then you need to try and flush the heater core. If flushing does not work then it will need to be replaced. However if both hoses are to hot to touch then the heater core is OK. (3) NEXT: You'll need to check the Temperature door on the A/C Housing. Move the temp control from hot to cold and see if you hear the door moving or if the air flow changes. One way to know for sure if you have a door problem is to remove the door actuator (Motor) same thing. Then take your hand and move the door manually from hot to cold and see if you have hot air. Hope this helps and have an awesome day Dennis.

My 98 olds bravada started blowing hot air even when the air and heat is turned off .....my heat and air both dont work now ..... any solutions?

Either the entire control panel has gone out or the door actuator motor has stuck or stopped working - real pain to change - behind the glovebox - has screws on top of actuator that are almost impossible without a swivel 1/4 wrench

Ford ka heater blows hot air all the time

Your problem is a faulty heater control valve. The design used on these vehicles allows for hot water to flow constantly and compete with the evaporator as there is no blender door. You have to replace the valve and possibly the control head. Meanwhile, you can bypass the valve to have cold air

HOT & COLD ELECTRIC VENTS NOT MOVING.

Blend door actuator. When it fails for some reason it turns to the hot side and gets stuck. Dash must come out. I usually do it in 3 hours, because I've done it numerous times.
