I have a 1995 Lesabre with about 95K miles. Up until now, it has been bullet proof. Today the check engine light came on and shortly after the cruise control quit working.
After I stopped for gas and a burger, I started out on the highway and the check engine light was off and the cruise control worked.
After about 10 min. the check engine light came on and the cruise control quit working.. also the engine did not seem to have the pickup it once did.
When I got home I tried to run my OBD engine decoder on it and it would not give a reading.
Thoughts?

Sounds like a vacum leak check your lines for cracks
If it has the 3.8, it could be your plenum that is going out. the 3.8 is bullet proof, but this always goes out at around 100,000 miles. the plenum is also called the lower intake. but as for the cruise control, it could be because the engine is not running right.
