At first it would start but die after you let go of the key.
Most likely a bad distributor they go out on hondas all the time replace that and it should fix it
pls give me an update if it works
R u talking about the icm and coil or whole distributir
the whole distributor the little points get corroded and they go bad replace the whole distributor
It worked at first butthismorning told me it didn't start
when u put the new distributor in did u make sure you lined up the rotor so the timimg was right ?
when u take a distributor out you alwawys mark witch way the rotor is facing and with the distributor can go in so you will get perfect timing

SOURCE: 93 honda civic ex sputtered and died while driving
Is there any white smoke coming out the exhaust? Sounds like the same problem my friend had when he warped his head on his 91 civic. Any overheating at all? Otherwise another guess would be maybe a bad catalitic converter that clogged up. Hope this helps any, good luck

DID YOU HAVE SPARK IN THE SPARK PLUG WIRES WHAT YOU CAN DO IS TAKE OFF ONE OF THE WIRES FROM THE SPARK PLUG AND PUT A FLAT SCREW DRIVER INSIDE THE WIRE AND PUT IT CLOSE TO THE METAL SO THE WIRE GETS GROUND AND HAVE SOME ONE TO CRANK THE ENGINE AND YOU GOING TO SEE THE SPARK IF YOU DONT SEE SPARK SO THAT IS YOU POBLEM
