Code 128 is for the engine not warming up to normal temp.
Usual problem is a faulty thermostat.

Change the coolant temperature sensor. If the code is still there, change the thermostat, it might be stuck open causing the engine to run cooler than it should.

SOURCE: 2005 equinox with P0405 code.

Do you have an odd smell in the interior compartment? This could be due to the egr being damaged from debris from the road. Hire a professional to do it or go to a car parts store and get the motors repair manual or similar.

Erase the code and see if it returns. If it does, replace the valve. What engine do you have? If it is a 3.4 it should be right on top. One plug and two bolts.

SOURCE: what could cause code PO128 to come up on a 2002

Sounds like the thermostat may be stuck open or has anyone put a colder thermostat in the car, because once it starts to get cold it will throw a SES with a colder then stock thermostat.

Code PO128; coolant temp below thermostat regulating temp. Replace the thermostat and that should address your issue.

Do you have any issues with heat in the vehicle? If so the thermostat may need replaced If not the engine coolant temperature sensor is most likely reading incorrectly due to a bad sensor or connection to the sensor.

I have 2006 chevy equinox code po455 I change the fuel cap and the purge evap valve but my code comes back what else could it be?

As you know one of the problems can be the Fuel Cap. I make this suggestion. If you changed your Fuel Cap before the Purge Valve double check that the cap used was an OEM (Original) Chevy Part for that specific vehicle, not just any cap from another Chevy.

Trouble codes for 2003 Chevy Blazer

Code 155 is for a problem with the heater circuit in the O2 sensor for bank two. Bank two is on the side with cylinder number two.
Usually the sensor is faulty, but the heater circuit would need to be checked to be sure. The sensor has a built-in heater to get it hot quickly after starting the engine.

I got a PO128 reading I changed the theromstat but the engine light is still on what can I do to get the light off

When the Check Engine light comes on,you need to clear the code, either use a scan tool to clear the code or you can use 3 consecutive ignition cycle, that the diagnostic runs and not fails, Or A history of 40 consecutive warm up cycles if no failure are reported by this or any other emission relateddiagnostic, If the relacement thermostat and you cleared the close and this code appears You need to inspect the ECT sensor or even the ECT harness

PO128

P0128 is an insufficient coolant temp code. Which means the coolant temp is not coming up to full operating temperature fast enough or not at all. The fix for this is to replace the thermostat.

Check engine light on code po128 themostat how to replace it

It is where the top radiater hose goes into the engine manifold. Easy to replace, just unbolt hose, remove and drop in new thermostat, then use a gasket sealant on it (buy anywhere -- read label for best uses) and rebolt. Altogether a couple bucks if you DIY.
