I have a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee the power windows, power seat , door would not lock , and the inside lights would stay one ..i thought it was a fuse problem but no fuses for that ... in the rubber boot between the door and frame ..the was the ground wire was split ... put a **** connector on it everything works great now ....

If all the doors do not lock or unlock when using the passenger side switch, then the switch itself is probably bad. If the passenger side switch locks or unlocks all the other doors except for its own, then the power lock solenoid inside the door is bad or jammed. If it is jammed, try locking and unlocking the door manually while activating the switch to work its way free.

Sounds familiar - I pulled the rubber boot back and found the black wire was broken. I stripped the wires and put on a couple bullet connectors (terminators) and all is good. Just wish I would have seen this post before I took the door panel off... Oh well...
