So I have a 2002 Mitsubishi Lancer with 190000 miles on it It ran perfect until the car just stalled out on the way home from work the other night It stalled like it would if there was no gas getting to...

I had a new fuel pump put on my Dodge Pickup and a week later it stalled . I checked the injectors to see if they were getting fuel and it shot gas out like it had fuel but the pump they put on was defective it was pumping fuel but not enough to start it .
I would take a spray bottle and gas in it . Unhook your air filter and then squirt fuel into the intake . If it starts for a second you will then no within a shadow of a doubt that the fuel pump is not pumping enough fuel.
Also check to see if your in line fuel filter is clogged . I don't know what part of the country you are in but a cold climate can cause a dirty gas filter to gel and not allow enough fuel to get past.

1999 Malibu hard start in hot weather, after it starts runs great lots of power. starts when cold in cooler weather.V6 3.1 engine. have gas at rail. changed spark plugs and wires, IAT and ECT sensors also...

this is most likely a fuel vapor issue.

fuel boils in the fuel rail causing a hard start after a 'hot soak'.

the fix is to replace the fuel pressure regulator and the pcm. good- day !!

How to give a tune up for a 1990 toyota 4runner?

with many new modern fuel injected vehicles its hard to give them a tune up without plugging them into a computer or getting an aftermarket computer chip and programmer.

however, if your toyota is running a little rough and getting bad gas mileage i would reccomend a new set of spark plugs and wires. and maybe a new fuel filter, i would do the spark plugs first, if the results are not satisfactory then change the spark plug wires, and if the results are still not up to your standards comparing the way it used to run to how it runs now then change the fuel filter. doing all these things will make the vehicle run clean and efficient like it should. and if it doesnt than im sure you have a vacum or oxygen sensor problem.

just wanna hop up the performance a little bit and get better fuel mileage?
then i would suggest and personally recommend a complete K&N cold air intake kit.

GMC 2001 W3500 truck run great during the year but is getting hard to start with the winter cold weather . I just have the spark plugs changed but now it did not start. What else could be the problem.

check your air filter and your fuel filter when you start it dont push the gas down its injected. A block heater can help. It might have one there is a plug near the front bumper inside if it has one. Try running some fuel injection cleaner through it. I like Techron Make sure you check your air filter and clean the screen in your mass air flow sensor with the special aerosol spray

2000 blazer having trouble cold starting in the morning. it's almost like it's not getting fuel to turn over...it feels like it wants to start but putter and turns off. mostly happens when the car is cold...

Have you the vehicle tuned up lately? Bad spark plugs will cause hard starting in cold weather also, the fuel filter could be plugged or it may have moisture in it. I guess, I would have those items checked and also, have the fuel pressure checked, the pump may be getting weak.

Engine turns, camshaft turns, fuel pump and filter working good, and fuses are good but engine does not start.

Turning is good, but does it have spark? How do you know fuel pump is good? whats your fuel pressure? Spark plugs? I know these may have a problem in cold weather, Put a little oil in each cylinder, new spark plugs and hold the gas pedal to the floor and see if it starts. Make sure you have a good battery.
