Re: power in fuse box for fuel pump no power at wire...
Check the fuse and relay for the fuel pump in the engine compartment fuse box near the battery... as well as the fuel shut off switch in the back (trunk) part of the vehicle

i am assuming that the fuse you are replacing is the fuse for the fuel pump, then replacing the fuel pump did solve ur problem for 3 days.
did you check again the fuse of the fuel pump? if it is blown again, try looking at manual to see if you are putting the right fuse. is the fuel pump that you put in is an original pump for the car or a replacement pump?.
if it is a replacement pump, kindly check the label and if you can find out what rating of fuse it is using then use that fuse rating for that particular pump.
another case could be another defective pump...could be a factory defect...
you can compare resistance of windings of pumps to find out if they have problems.
another thought could be if there is a return line on your fuel system..if this is clogged and building up a pressure on the fuel line, then this could cause a problem on your fuel pumps.
Well you have already confirmed there is a short in the harness or a connector. If you can't find it, the next best thing would be to run a new wire from the pump relay back to the connector at the gas tank.
Thats wild. The fuel pump - injector circuit is on one fuse and the brake circuit is on a different fuse. I can't think of a way the two would be connected other than something wrong with the fuse box. If the pump fuse blew when you hit the brake pedal, it could be something shorted in the harness, but that would not explain the parking brake. If there is nothing wrong with the terminals in the fuse box, and no sign of trouble with the wiring around the brake pedal, you may have to hunt the wiring harness back to the pump to look for bare wires. It might be easier to run a new wire from the pump relay to the pump outside of the main harness. They make circuit breakers that can take the place of regular fuses, but that would only be a temp fix.
Sounds like you have some experience. Will the vehicle run by applying power direct to the fuel pump? just trying to isolate a bad pump. If pump is confirmed good than you missed a wiring problem. Keep in touch.
Check for 12 volts power at the fuel pump harness. If no power is going to the pump, check the fuel pump relay. Also, check the fuel pump inertia switch. Ford usually has it on either inside left or right rear trunk fenders.
The wire should not be hot until the relay is triggered. The relay does not get triggered until the ignition key is turned on. It will run for 3-5 seconds or until the system pressure it at max.
When you first turn the key to the on position, but not all the way to the start position, do you hear the pump run at all?
If not, look in the under hood power distribution box for a relay marked fuel pump. check if there is power there. if yes, check to see that power comes from the relay when activated.
If all is ok there, remove the fuel tank from the vehicle and replace the fuel pump.
you should have power on the tan wire for about 5 seconds with key on try to cycle key on for 5 sec off for 10 sec if no power chehave power on both sides of fuseck ecm 1 10 amp fuse if you check ecm b fuse if that is ok check for power on the orange wire and power on the green with white wire on fuel pump relay if you have power on those check for power on the grey wire out to fuel pump if you have power on grey wire you have a bad wire from the grey to the tan wire some where in the harness hope this helps
