I would say when the person broke into your car they set off the security system which stops the car from starting, the way to reset the security is to put your key into the ignition turn the key until all the dash lights come on and let them stay on about 15 minutes after the 15 minutes have expired turn the key off and wait about 3 seconds and then your car should start. hope this helps.

SOURCE: 2005 chevy silverado won;t start.

i had the same problem, and it turned out the coil pack was moulding inside wich stopped the spark all together, i ended up changing my coil pack and putting on new wires because the ends connected to the coil were very corroded and that cures the not running part just fine

enjoy

SOURCE: My 2000 Chevy Impala won't

1st, make sure that your car's battery is in good condition, if so, then check the battery cables out to make sure they are tight, and not corroded. if they are corroded with acid, you can clean them with a solution of water and baking soda, then rinse the cables off , and dry them off. you mentioned that your car won't turn over, do you mean not starting, or just won't try to start, either way, you can check out the start relay, located under the hood in a black box, on the drivers side.

Hi, the airbag flashing light on your car is telling there is a problem. On some vehicles, the light is flashing a two digit code. Your vehicle will require a scan tool for the proper diagnosis (and not the one at Auto Zone---it needs to be airbag system specific, like a good body shop or the dealer). Here's a site that will explain everything you need to know about airbag lights and resetting the system. Once you know the code, you can most likely repair it yourself. There are fairly easy procedures that most people are capable of repairing.
Airbagsolutions.com has the fault code charts to tell you what is wrong! Although it's a pay site ($14.95/day), it's a lot cheaper than going to the dealer.

SOURCE: back driver door won't lock

Hello, this is caused by a bad door lock actuator. the door lock actuator is part of the door latch. the door latch will need to be replaced to correct this problem.

  • Remove the rear door outside handle. .
  • Remove the interior trim panel.
  • Remove the water deflector

I was driving and when I when to put my chevy impala 2005 in park my gear broke, now my keays are stuck in the engine and my car won't start

Is the shifter broke? Is the transaxle in park? You should be able manually shift the transaxle to get it in park position at the linkage on transaxle. You need to know what your doing, no offense. Even after that, there is the shift interlock system you have to deal with. I can't tell what is broken?

The alternator is not charging,or the battery wont take a charge. If all accessories work fine when its running after you've boosted it,its likely the battery.
