My cigg lighter in my truck keeps messes up

Are you sure your Silverado is a 1994? The first model was a 1999 year.
The fuse for the cigarette lighter is in the engine compartment. A black box near the battery. I've attached an image to show the 2 most likely fuses you will need to check.

Question did u buy used? Have you checked that the fuse and the CIG lighter right for vehicle and 3 any after market electronics in dash. Stereo CD DVD etc? Before I answer.

I have to put number 2 fuse in to open back hatch power lock. All the other power locks work for doors without it not rearchatch. But its the horn so.... My horn blows and its not thevhorn relay in glove compartment because it blows. Its the padding that's gone in steering wheel.

The info should be in your owners manual.
There should be a 15 or 20amp fuse in the box near the battery for the cig lighter. There may also be one for "power outlet" or accessory outlet.

many electrical parts in the car have not an individual fuse for it, instead some manufact. use 1 fuse to protect more than one electrical thing, like, stero and cig. lighter, together. Etc.

It is usually a 20a. Start looking for white fuses. Look for one with a blown element.

You will need to order a smokers package from a chevy dealer. It will consist of an ashtray & cigg lighter. The car is prewired for cigg lighter, the pigtail will be located near where the ashtray is mounted. You will also have to install fuse in fuse panel marked cigg.

So go buy one at autozone for like 15 bucks

Probably a Burned out Element in the Cig. lighter unit.

Underhood fuse box (behind battery). may be labeled cigarette lighter or "aux pwr".

i have run into this before on cheap scan tools for some reason they dont always read the codes. find some one that has a OTC or snap-on . there is a reason these tools cost 3-4 thousand dollars.
