Came home and turned off ignition and mmi screen and radio remained on. The switch to turn off the screen didn't work. Fired car back up and I could use the switch to turn off screen. Turned ignition off and screen came back on and stayed on??? I'm in NJ and it has been cold. Battery sensor still shows %100. Any ideas?

Try it, use rubbing alcohol and q tips to clean it all, you may need to clean the inside of the units as well.... Dip the q tip in the alcohol, do not pour the alcohol on the units.

Depress the volume bottom or rotate the volume knob. When on a Bluetooth phone call, the speaker symbol will mute, but unmute when the call ends. Either rolling the right steering wheel scroll or the volume button on the shifter area will should unmute the radio volume.

Your most (fiber optic) system is inoperative. Its most likely your CD player and the bluetooth is an update issue, if it doesn't take the update then you need to replace your telephone transceiver.

you nid mmi circuit board replaced,happened to me after spilling coffee,audi wanted to replace the whole thing with a new mmi system for a lot of money, but Ifound someone to change circuit board for abt £200 which is not bad,the only thing is you have to take out the whole centre console and air con unit and armrest off,so u nid some one who knows how to do it.check on tyresmoke and post from there,will respond and give you more info.The previous owner must have spilt something and panicked and sold the car without being honest.It sucks..........
