93 toyota camry is flashing 24. Also the O/D overdrive light is flashing on the transmission position indicator area of console. What's up? Think the fact that when it's cold the tranny don't shift all the way to overdrive on the highway until warm has anything to do w/ it??? Duh, but can you give a solu. for a fix? thx, sean
These issues are unrelated. The input air temp sensor is indicated by code 24. That sensor is integrated with the airflow sensor. I don't remember which pins, but you can find info online. Che k the connector and wiring first. Tne sensor is expensive. For the overdrive issue, do you have clean fluid? You can try some additive.

it is inside the transmissio, it is part of the shift solenoid pack.

nope if its a e4od goodluck these trans are bad from heat buildup .if u get a rebuilt get a trans cooler , sorry but this is not a cheap fix

IF you have checked the fluid level and it is good then if you look at the fluid on the trans fluid dip stick at it is a dirty brownish color then your transmission is bad. If the color is a nice clear reddish and the fluid level is good then Overdrive is probably gone. Replace transmission or drive it until it quits altogether.
