Check to be sure it is the right belt and latch combination.
I believe you have 3 seat belts in the rear. The latch for the two side ( door) belts is not the same as the one in the middle.
VERY often, one of the latches will fall down in between the seat rest and the back rest of the seat, often from dis-use.
This happens on all cars.
You should have 3 latches on short straps in the middle of the rear seat.
Be blessed.

Seat belt problem in Toyota Corolla 2001

There are supposed to be three locks. It is common for seats like this for the lock to fall to the back or under side of the seat. Try taking the bench cushion off and see if you can find it. Did you buy this car used? if so and you cant find the seat belt take it to them. It is supposed to be there

My son pulled out and then snapped back the rear passenger side seatbelt on my '99 Merc. Villager Van, and it ended up locked into place near the floor inside the mechanism used to adjust the rear bench...

is the belt wrapped around the lever to adjust the seat?
Try sliding the seat to get some slack.
He may have it in ALR mode. That is when you pull it allthe way out, and then it ratchets it's way back in until it is all the way in. Then it reverts back to pulling out and going in w/o ratcheting.
This is to lock a child seat in.
So, you need to get it in all the way somehow.

Seat belt on rear seat has jammed

This happens to me also. To solve the problem you need to un-bolt the seat belt clip. A bit tricky when the bench is tight down, but get a friend to hold it up out of the way as much as possible. This will relieve the tension and allow the seat belt to return to normal. To prevent this in future, pull the seat belt out and clip it in to place before lowering the back bench. This allows enough slack on the seat belt tensioner to stop the problem from happening again.

2003 Volkswagen Passat Center Rear Belt Locked

The fix is:
  • remove the seat bench,
  • unscrew the bolt attaching the seat belt to the body,
  • return the seat back to its upright position and make sure it latches
  • reattach the seat belt
  • replace the seat bench
To prevent this from happening again:
  • Leave the seat belt latch in its receiver when not in use.

How do you fold the back seat down on a 95 Isuzu Rodeo 2wd

Here is how I fold down the back seat of my 1995 Rodeo. First thing I do is remove the headrests on the back seat. Then I place my knees (and all my weight) on the middle of the seat (bench), and pull on both belts straps. If this is done properly, I will hear each strap release. (sort of a click). As soon as I hear it release, I stand up as best I can while at the same time pulling up the seat. I then manage to step out of the Rodeo while letting the seat fall forward. After that, I am able to drop the other part of the seat into the forward position.

Seat belt locked in place

There is a recall on this problem, so best thing to do is go to the GM dealer and have the seat belt replaced for free under the recall notice. Good luck and hope this helps. Add middle seat belt to make 3 seat belts on a bench seat?

I'll begin by saying I'm surprised there isn't a 3rd belt on a bench seat, but I think you are entering dangerous territory. There is an immense amount of engineering, testing, and development involved in seat belt systems. They are anchored very securely at points that are reinforced and designed to withstand a human body being thrown against the belt, transferring the energy to the anchors of the belts. So, besides being beyond the scope of being possible to install by your average mechanic, I shudder to think of the legal angle. If u were to be involved in an accident, and someone was injured or worse in that seat wearing the added belt, the lawsuit possibilities are scary. Having said all this, check with your local dealer, maybe the Durango is set up somehow for an extra belt, but I've never heard it before.

My rear passenger side seat belt buckle doesn't work, what is the best way to get it fixed?

take a run down to your closest junkyard and get one out of another neon, they wont charge you much, and the bench seat in the back pops right out after some wiggling so it wont take much to fix yourself.
