SOURCE: Slight knocking sound when I turn my 2007 Saturn Aura.
it is the intermediate steering shaft. there was a bulletin but no recall on this. there is an upgraded part that needs to be installed
SOURCE: Fuse panel
There are two fuse panels on the 2007, 2008, 2009 Saturn Aura. The first is under the hood. The second is in the trunk hidden behind a pop-out panel in the side trim on the driver's side.
SOURCE: how do you replace low beam headlight on 2008
Access to change the headlamp bulbs is through the wheel well. The recommended method is to remove the front tire and then the plastic inner fender liner. Once removed, you'll have easy (more or less) access to the rear of the headlamp housing.

WOW..I am having the exact same issue!!! Did you ever find out what it was? I went to a Audio store today and they checked my fuses and they were all good. And told me it is either the factory radio that went out or the factory amplifier. They are suggesting I start with replacing the radio first. Update Please! Dont want to be swindled out of unneccesary money.
Solution? I have same problem
I have a 2008 Saturn aura xe and I might know the solution to your problem when I first got my car I went to put a system in it and on the cd player harness there is a box on it that makes all the sounds like when you leave ur keys in the ignition or your blinkers or when the dings sound from your tires being low so it's the box on that harness that you may need... I only know that this is the problem because when I unplugged that harness none of my sounds worked but when I plugged it back up they did... hope this helps yall.
did any one figure this problem out?
Does your radio work - sound from speakers ? driver door speaker ? That's where the sound comes from . The BCM - body control module is in charge of turn signal operation -sound too , message to radio .
Turn Signal Lamps
The body control module (BCM) is responsible for controlling the turn signals and hazard lamps. When the turn signal switch is placed in either the left turn or right turn position, the BCM receives a signal from the turn signal switch. The BCM then sends an on-off voltage signal to either the left or right turn signals and their instrument panel cluster (IPC) indicator. When the hazard switch is pressed, the BCM receives a signal from the hazard switch. The BCM then will send an on-off voltage signal to all the turn signal lamps. All the turn signal lamps will flash including both IPC turn signal indicators.
