2 of my 4 instrument panel lights don't work on my 2006 chevy express van

My dash was taken out for other reasons and now the back light for my oil pressure & temp gauge don't work.All other instruments & dash work fine.What can be the problem?

Bulbs might be blown

    It does'nt carry replaceable bulbs,there made into circuit board.

did you pull the fuse all the way out to check it? Sometimes they show good with a meter but thier still blown.

SOURCE: where is the fuse for the instrument panel lights

The fuse I.D. is inside the cover. You may also have an inside box behind and access panel on the drivers kick panel.

Many many things that could cause this. Best if looked at by a mechanic for this one.

Check you tail light fuse. If the tail light goes out so will the lights on the dash to warn you,

the CGR LTR/DM fuse powers the dome / instrument lights. did you check voltage going into and out of dimmer switch.

Headlight won't come on

The headlights have 2 fuses. One is a main power feed under the hood in the distrabution box and the other is under the dashboard. Check the fuses and then check for power at the switch. If you have power at the switch then its not a fuse its the switch and the trailer you had connected most likely shorted and back fed into the parking and dash light circuit. Those circuits also run from the light switch.
