On my 2004 F250 the highlights stopped woking so I changed the bulbs but they would still not work and also the low beams flicker all the time. Receantly while driving the radio shut off then all the gauges went crazy I believed that all of them went completely to the right then they went to normal and the radio turned back on.

Replace your "Flasher Relay", very cheap part and can be picked up from anyplace that sells auto parts. It is 98% of the time located in your fuse panel and is usually round,
Here are a few pictures of what they look like.

Hello. The symptoms you are describing are likely due to a poor ground. Temporarily install a new ground wire by securing a piece of copper wire to the frame with a self tapping screw. Use this ground wire along with the hot wire to see if each of these lights works. If it does, trace the ground wire back to the frame, unscrew it and clean up the metal with emery cloth so you reestablish a good ground.

what you need to do first is find out what was the original problem. If you had bad batteries only,, then this should not of happened, But if you installed a defective alternator or did not disconnect the battery before replacing it you could of damaged something importtant if a short accured that did not pop the main fuse first. All the imputs for all functions come thru computers and only a proper diagnostic is going to find the problem. since you already stated you checked the obvious. Your going to need a diagnostic scanner to proceed.

HAVE YOU BEEN HAVING ANY SLOW CRANKING ISSUES. A GOOD INDICATION THAT YOUR LOOSING BATTERY POWER OR HAVE A LOOSE GROUND IS THE GAUGES WILL SWIPE, TELLING YOU THE SYSTEM IS RESETING.
check wires going to ignition switch.
you have to Explain about low beams and high beams, "Might be the Dimmer Switch"
As for the Radio and gages, Did you ever have the Engine Replaced? sounds like a bad ground, Check the Gound at bat+Engine+the Car body, Make sure all 3 are Tight and good wires...
