I seriously doubt it.
The O2 sensors measure the amount of unburned fuel in the exhaust and would not be affected by water if you got them wet.
The spark plug wires and coils would be affected.

SOURCE: 1994 pontiac bonneville.car starts but stops after

This car uses a key with a transponder chip in it. The ignition reads the value of the chip thru 2 small contacts just inside the entrance of the keyhole. These contacts are known to get dirty, wear out, or become totally disconnected from the wire they are hooked to. Use electrical cleaner in the lock cylider and run the key in and out a few times to clean the lock. This is your temporary fix. The next item you may want to try ,is having another chip key made. If this doesn't work, then you will need to replace the ignition cylinder. You can try "Plastichead Keys" for these parts. They can be reached at [email protected].

What is the firing order for the spark plugs in a 96 pontiac bonneville i think i have them mixed up because my car wont start

If 3800 engine the timing is 1-6-5-4-3-2
If 2.8L or 3.1L or 3.4L timing is 1-2-3-4-5-6

Coil packs on 3800 are (1 / 4, 5 / 2, 3 / 6)
Coil packs on 2.8L or 3.1L are (1 / 4, 6 / 3, 2 / 5) 1995 earlier across the front from right to left.
Coil packs on 3.4L are (5 / 2, 3 / 6, 4 / 1) 1996 across the back from right to left.

My 1998 pontiac bonneville se skakes when the fans turn on, is it a belt or something???

Hi, does it just shudder a bit and then go away or does it always shudder when the fans are on. When the engine fan comes on it draws enough amps to put a load on the engine. It is common that you feel a slight shudder as they engage but it should smooth out.

Engine idles high

Check for vacuum leaks at hoses at intake and throttle body. Check the line that comes off of the PCV valve to the air box as well.
